Economy and Jobs

As a small business owner, I know what it is like to sign the front of a paycheck as I do the back of one. Throughout 2020 and into 2021, the state and federal governments were paying individuals more not to work than to go to work. That is not a policy that helps small businesses recover from the pandemic. Instead, we continue to see "Help Wanted" signs in the storefronts of businesses across America due to the Biden economic policies.

When you send me to Congress, I will focus on the small businesses that line the main streets in every town in our district. That means we will deregulate the restrictions placed on our small businesses that have caused a burden to the Main Street Economy over the Napa Valley tech giants like Facebook and Google.

Here are five ways we can prioritize Main Street and small businesses.

  1. Keep our businesses open! We can NEVER shut down our economy again.

  2. Further simplify the tax code for small businesses with under 50 employees.

  3. Take immediate action to curb inflation

  4. Eliminate overly burdensome and ineffective regulations that are crushing our small businesses from the insurance agency to the family farm to restaurants down the street.

  5. Keep interest rates low for small business loans
